When you use ZenAwards, we collect the minimum amount of information necessary to provide a secure and seamless voting experience:

• Account Data: If you log in via Google or Email Magic Link, we collect your email address, display name, and profile picture (if available) provided by the authentication service.
• Voting & Coin Data: We securely log your coin balance, ad claims, and voting history to maintain the integrity of our leaderboards.
• Technical Data: For anti-fraud purposes, we temporarily process IP addresses and approximate geographic locations to prevent bot voting and mass spamming.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your data is strictly used to operate the ZenAwards platform. This includes authenticating your account, updating your coin balance, processing your votes securely, and preventing malicious activities (such as auto-clickers or bot farms). We do not use your personal information to send unsolicited marketing emails.

3. Data Security & Storage

We take security seriously. All authentication is handled by Firebase Auth, meaning ZenAwards never stores or sees your actual passwords. Your voting records and coin data are securely stored in our encrypted MongoDB database. While we employ industry-standard security measures, no system is 100% immune to breaches, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

4. Third-Party Services & Cookies

We partner with third-party providers such as Firebase (Authentication), MongoDB (Database), BunnyCDN (Image Delivery), and various Ad Networks (to provide free coins). These third parties may use cookies or similar tracking technologies to function properly or to serve relevant advertisements. We use browser Local Storage solely to sync your offline votes temporarily before sending them to our servers.

5. Your Rights & Data Deletion

You have the right to access the data we hold about you or request its deletion. If you wish to delete your ZenAwards account and remove your data from our servers, you may contact our support team. Please note that once your account is deleted, your coin balance will be permanently lost, though your past votes will remain anonymously counted in the system.
